From the Train Station Santa Maria Novella

From the railway station of Santa Maria Novella you can reach Hotel Guelfa on foot in 7-10 minutes.
Exit the station on the side of platform 16, cross the road and turn right onto the sidewalk. Then turn left into Via Alinari which continues into Via Nazionale.
After about 300m, Via Guelfa is on your right: turn and go straight. After the first intersection you will find us on your left, at number 28.
Our Hotel is on the second floor of an ancient building. Should you need help with your luggage, ask our staff.

From Florence Airport

If you are arriving from Florence airport "Amerigo Vespucci", just 5 km from the city center, we suggest that you take the "Volainbus" shuttle bus which arrives at the central train station (SMN), without intermediate stops. The ticket price is about € 6.00 per person and can be purchased on the bus.

Alternatively you can take a taxi. Taxi fares are approximately € 20.00 from the airport to the city center and vice versa.

From Pisa Airport

If you are landing in Pisa - PSA - the easiest way to reach us is by bus. The company is called Terravision (www.terravision.eu) and they have an office inside the airport, always open, where you can buy one-way or return tickets. The ride takes one hour and a half and it drives you to the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella.
From the train station you can reach the Hotel in 7/10 minute walk.

From "Firenze Nord" Motorway Exit

From "Firenze Nord" follow the signs to the city center. When you arrive at the Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and at the first traffic light turn right into Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. After the tree-lined square (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, and after 300m on the left you will find Via Guelfa. Take it and go straight until you see number 28 after the first intersection, on the left.

From "Firenze Sud" Motorway Exit

From "Firenze Sud" follow the signs to the city center. Once you arrive in Piazza della Libertà take Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico: at the first traffic light turn left into Via Poliziano and go straight until you get to Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. After the tree-lined square (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, and after 300m on the left you will find Via Guelfa. Take it and go straight until you see number 28 after the first intersection, on the left.
